2018 Pre-Honda LPGA Thailand: 70 ladies are READY

On February 21 at Pattaya (Chonburi), Thailand – Ladies are ready for the big days starting tomorrow (22nd February) at Siam Country Club, Pattaya Old Course.

“Meet the Players” press conference composed with LPGA and Thai frontrows.

Feng Chanchan: “I’m 15-weeks-old number one now and I hope it will still counting. This is my third tournament of the 2018 season. I’m always excited to be here (in Thailand), so I can enjoy ‘Pad Si Ew’ and foot massage. For the course condition, I think it’s by far the best, especially the green. I will utilize this and make sure to achieve.”


Park Sunghyun: “I have been well-rested and prepared during off-season. First time in Thailand, I hope I could adapt to weather and perform well.”


Ryu So Yeon: “I just finished a match in Bahamas and ranked within top 10. I wish I could keep up the form. Last year in this tournament, I was runner-up after Amy Yang. 

Currently the Winter Olympic is held in my country. My compatriot, Park Inbee was honored lead the nation team while holding the flame. I hope someday I could represent the nation as she did. Also, I’m inspired by watching all the competition and proud that my country held such mega event.”


Lexi Thompson: “Seventh time here and once a winner in 2016. After practiced, I reckon great condition of the course and also I could use a lot of drive shot. My confidence is boosted!”

Ariya Jutanugarn: “Returning to home always make me feel excited and joyful. In this tenth time, I had gathered positivity and ready to serve my nation.”


Moriya Jutanugarn: ” Just to be home and have fun are more than great. I received warm welcome  whenever I return. Although I do not wish to pressure myself, I aim for victory. But since I have refreshed during off-season, I wish I could perform at maximum ability.”


Pornanong Phatlum: “I always prepare for this tournament. Instead of participate a tournament in Australia, I practiced hard and arranged my form. I targets within top 10 which is higher than the past.”


Benyapa NiphatsophonSupamas Sangchan, and Saranporn Langkulgasettrin also are vowed to utilize every experiences and prepared to be part of such grand event.
