P Chutichai won the battle over 2 players at Ueda Maruko Grandvrio Golf Club.
Chutichai, Korea’s Na-Ri Lee of and Japan’s Tomoko Yokoyama closed by swinging seven under-pars 209. The play-off last for 2 rounds. Then Chutichai got in the hole with a birdie (hole 18 par 3) straight to her win in 2 years time.
Not only money prize she earned, but also gift voucher of Route Inn Hotel chain (worth 500,000 JPY). 32 years-old stated:
“I had this conversation about how ‘just right’ my condition is to Nook (Budsabakorn Sukapan). I told her I will definitely bring the championship home. Literally everything is gorgeous, especially the putts. It have been 2 years and the wait is finally over.”
Chutichai entered career golf in 2005 and took 2 years to capture first championship. Then she was touring over East Asia ever since. 3 victories in 2011 then back to rock her home soil in 2014 and 2016.
