2018 Semi-Final Round of 3rd SINGHA-SAT: Phokan steadily tops the round

Parinda Phokan steps up on top with total eight under-pars 136 in the second round at Rancho Charnvee Resort Country Club.

Phokan shared:

“There’s still few shot that I lost my focus. I hope I can work on it in the final so I can stay between four to five under-pars. Although I might not win with the score, I will be more than satisfy to keep the routine.”

In this round, 21 years-old fires three under-pars 69 and overtake Ornnicha Konsunthea’s leading who unfortunately scores seven over-pars 79. The former leader dramatically drops to joint twenty-third with an even-pars.


Tied at second, Wannasiri Sirisampant scores the lowest at seven under-pars 65 and earns Best of the Day (4,000 THB). While her co-runner up, Kanyalak Preedasuttijit shots five under-pars today. They collect seven under-pars 137 in total so far.

At the same time, the best amateur still South Korean, Ham Jiye. She is now at fifteenth with 3 career players. By scores an over-pars 73 today, the 17 years-old have two under-pars 142 in total.
